SAVE THE DATE: Texoma’s 2021 Veteran Resource EXPO Honoring 9/11

Updated: Aug 25, 2021

Mark your calendar for September 11, 2021 to attend the 2021 Veterans & Family Resource EXPO Honoring 9/11 happening in Texoma at VFW Post 2772 (that’s the one in Sherman) from 10:30am - 1:30pm.

FREE!

Get face to face with local veteran resources, and join us to honor first responders for the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

We’re gathering up all the veteran resources that you need to know about in Texoma! Drop by to meet the people who help with VA claims, find out about veteran-friendly local businesses, check out local veteran groups, PTSD groups & learn what’s available for veterans that you didn’t even know existed.

We’re also serving lunch (until we run out!) Join us 10:30am - 1:30pm on September 11, 2021 at the VFW in Sherman.

Our schedule of events includes honoring first responders in Grayson, Fannin & Cooke Counties.

We have door prizes & lunch! It’s totally free to attend!

If you have kiddos, you’ll want to bring them too. We will have clowns making balloons for the small kids, and you can talk to youth groups like the Civil Air Patrol, which is a local Texoma group that helps prepare teens for military service.

This event benefits Texoma’s Military Veteran Peer Network, which is located at 1100 W Walker in Denison. Organizers: Areli Medical Devices, Heart to Heart Hospice & TCC’s MVPN.

Areli Medical Devices & Heart to Heart Hospice have teamed up to coordinate this event with TCC’s Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN).

We will have masks available for anyone who wants to wear one at the event, and we will have tables spread out to accommodate social distancing. We will follow any local and state Covid-19 mandates.

And did we mention door prizes?! You can’t miss this.
